The 2017 Veterinarian Award for French-speaking Community was attributed to Nadia Haddad

Nadia Haddad, PhD, Professor at The Alfort National Veterinary School and Director of the Molecular Biology and  Parasitic Immunology Laboratory at Maisons-Alfort received the 2017 Veterinarian Award for the French-speaking Community discerned by the Federation of French-speaking veterinarian Associations for companion animals (Fédération des associations francophones des vétérinaires pour animaux de compagnie (FAFVAC)).

This prestigious award is aimed at honoring a veterinarian who, by his/her activities and career, has helped the veterinary profession progress in his/her country, while favoring its development in all French-speaking countries.

The award ceremony was held on November 23 in Nantes, during the annual meeting of the French Veterinarian Association for Companion Animals (Afvac), in presence of Mr. Jean-François Rousselot, acting president of FAFVAC and many guests.
